40 Under Forty 2021: Brandale Mills Cox makes compassion and care a part of leadership

Brandale Mills Cox, Ph.D., does it all.

She is not only the director of communications for the Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office, she is also the founder and principal of Inclusive Market Research Group. And, when she's not busy with those jobs, she can be found teaching at Central New Mexico Community College.

Cox is devoted to "creating spaces where communities of color can add perspective to the narratives that depict them," she told Business First. That pursuit has driven both her professional and academic life.
